Chicken Noodle Soup

Soup with chicken and noodle


  • Butter-2 Tbsp

  • Diced onion-1 cup

  • Garlic -2 cloves

  • Diced celery-1 cup

  • Diced carrot-1 cup

  • Cooked, shredded chicken-½ lb

  • Chicken broth-14 oz, 4 cans

  • Egg noodle-2 cups

  • Salt-1 teaspoon

  • Pepper-1 teaspoon

  • Dried bay leaf-2 leaves


  • Melt butter and add onions and garlic in a large pot. Cook until onions are soften.
  • Add celery, carrots, and cooked shredded chicken.
  • Add the chicken broth, egg noodles, salt, pepper and bay leaves.
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 5.Remove bay leaves from the soup.
