Pumpkin Soup

Cream soup with pumpkin


  • Onion, chopped-1

  • Olive Oil-1 Tbsp

  • Celery, chopped-2 Stalks

  • Carrot, peeled and chopped-1

  • Ground Sage-2 tsp

  • Fresh Thyme-1 tsp of

  • Pure Pumpkin Puree-2 cups

  • Chicken Stock-3 cups

  • Heavy Cream-¼ cup

  • Salt and Pepper


  • Preheat the soup to medium heat and add the oil in it, put in the onions, carrots and celery and let them cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Put in the chicken stock, pumpkin puree, thyme and sage and let the mixture come to a boil, turn the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 15 minutes
  • Puree the soup in a blender.
  • Add the cream, season with salt and pepper and cook for just 2 more minutes to warm up the cream.
